“Titanic’s Vidrio released”

Vidrio (Glass) is in the world today from prolifc duo Il La Catolica and Mabe Fratti collectively known as “Titanic”. Some words here from the Guardians Global Album of the Month review.

“Somewhere between jazz and chamber pop, multi-instrumentalist Hector Tosta pairs a dizzying variety of sound with Mabe Fratti’s strings and vocals, Their approach to genre is unbound. Anchoring each composition in the clarity of Fratti’s voice, which is always pushed to the fore, it veers from jazz on Hotel Elizabeth, featuring Jarrett Gilgore’s high-register, expressive saxophone lines, to Cielo Falso’s jaunty, strings-led chamber pop and Te Evite’s guitar-strumming polyrhythms. Each of the tracks plays with a joyous vitality”
